The rise of this band is prodigy like. In some years, this album will be recognized by history as a major development and milestone in Venezuelan black metal, even if the composer can’t live there or record his music there due to the political displacement. Our audience has spoken, and all the synergy came together to make this happen at what is likely the best time for it. The world of Symphonic Black Metal is likely not one for UGBM, yet Sudwind venture there with ease and the musical strength/depth of this recording matches both classical training and black metal composition. In 2019 I released this as a stand alone cassette album, and the release of 100 cassettes sold out in a matter of weeks and was a very late contender (in mainstream South American metal press) for best release of the year. Acting like a sledge hammer onto the Chilean music scene (where the band was based out of, at the time, now displaced again to Argentina) and putting an unique off shoot of Evolianism/South American Nationalism on the map.
Originally compared to Malefice, the music on this has ventured into a much different territory that has yet to really be described by anybody. Sometimes Der Sturmer, sometimes Nachtgeblut, sometimes Nokturnal Mortum, sometimes Sigrblot, and sometimes even Shred. What is found on this album is the type of unique Genre bending recording Winter Solace excels at, now here again as Vinyl. 50 Yellow, 50 Blue, 50 Red (colors of the Venezuelan flag) and 50 Black. Remastered specially for Vinyl, this album is a gateway into something surreal that only a select few will be able to comprehend. https://rumble.com/vg1oof-sudwind-misterios-hiperbreos-vinyl-master.html
